Abstract

Language, as most of its scholars have decided, is not limited to its function of understanding between individuals, but goes beyond that to the fact that it is the tool by which a person learns and thinks. It guides his mind and direction, and by it indicates good behavior with others. Moreover, it preserves the cultural heritage of societies. It is therefore an organization. Social relations, the means of interaction and cooperation between members of society, and the most important tools for preserving its entity. It is the beating heart of the nation and its motor system. Arabic terms and popular expressions are considered one of the tributaries of the growth of the language and the secret thread through which one can reach some of the hidden secrets and secrets and read between the lines that hide behind the wall of knowledge. News and its formulation represent an important aspect in the world of knowledge in our current era and will always remain the effective way to follow the events and developments that are plaguing our world today. The terms used in media discourse are not random words, or stacked sentences that are said as agreed upon, but rather they are key words that carry deep contents, specific concepts, and central ideas, and they are of great importance and influential place at the heart of media discourse. There is no doubt that if a great media person wants to communicate with his audience, he must employ flexible language and artistic images based on linguistic and suggestive interconnectedness, charged with influence and expression, to convey news and information. This study seeks, through the analytical approach, to know the value of the artistic image with its four elements (metaphor, simile, metaphor, and metonymy) of media terms to show the extent of their effectiveness in formulating news and editing as an important means of education and conveying information, because it shortens the long distance in understanding and realizing the meaning, and spares you a lot of talk in explanation, clarification, and interpretation. Understanding it and realizing its value is an essential part of Media awareness. Given the importance of media terms and expressions in the media process, this study was intended to answer the following questions: First: What is media language? What is the relationship between language and media? Second: What is the artistic image? And what is its impact on enriching the media idea? Third: What are the literary terms and expressions in the media? What is their impact on editing and drafting the news? The study revealed an increase in the use of terminology by media professionals with the aim of suggesting ideas and certain trends through the brevity and expressive accuracy inherent in the terminology, with the aim of meeting the aesthetic charm of style and the idea conveyed to change, win or replace positions, especially in unstable regions of the world, or those witnessing armed conflicts, where the relevant parties compete to manufacture and sculpt media terminology, and market and disseminate it, for Supporting his owner’s idea and supporting his positions against the other party.
